4 In A Row Open Ended Game Inspired by 4 in a Row

My students love playing 4 In a Row so I decided to replace the black and red chips with words.
This post consists of  several templates to use in your classroom.  The first is a fill in template. You chose the category and the  two words you want students to practice.  The remaining templates are templates I filled in and used in the classroom.  They are ready to print and use. The Object of the Game  
The first player to get 4 words in a row (across, down or diagonally wins)

For the fill in template you can assign words, have kids pick flash cards or spin for words that you determined
