Transition Words Introduced using sequencing and retelling activities. Activities include order of months, recycle-reuse, make a cake, plant flowers, make a sandwich and build a house. Die-cuts were used for the activity below.
Describing the steps of recycling - First, purchase chips; next eat the chips, then recycle the emptied container into a pencil container!
First plant the seeds, next wait for them to sprout and then to flower.
First gather the ingredients, next place the peanut butter and jelly on the bread, then place the bread on top and cut the sandwich and finally eat the sandwich leaving an empty plate.
First build the foundation, next the walls, then the roof and finally the garden.
