As
children read more complex text, they will encounter several words that have
multiple meanings. Children will need to
know the different meanings of words and how to use the content of what they
are reading to determine the correct meaning of these words. Below are two examples using the word well: (1) They went to the well to fill their pail with water. (2) Shelly did not feel well today. The following activities will increase reading fluency and comprehension.
